I was in the 1st Puerto
Los Cabos / La Playa fishing tournament....And, on the second day
we were about 7 miles out, when we saw this poor little turtle struggling
for his life....no telling
how long he was tangled in the plastic gunny sack...he had a few minor
cuts from the tight
strands that were hindering him....he was tangled around his neck and
his flippers were
tangled so he could not swim very well....the entanglement was tight
and I am sure he would
have died if we would have not spotted him....we did not win the fishing
tournament.
We were going after a school of tuna we spotted but seeing the turtle
we made
the choice of losing the school of tuna to save the turtle, so chalk
one up for the good guys!
